butterfly / moth Options

anyone know what this is? I know nothing about moths and butterflies but was intrigued by this one.

Hi - it's a bit difficult to tell, but it is quite likely to be a Cinnabar moth, or possibly some sort of Burnet moth. Both these have some black on the wings. Was it red all over? Whereabouts are you, roughly?
