What sort of moss is this? Options

Can anyone get me started on this moss - we've a couple of books but not got my head in gear on these yet.
The moss must have covered a couple of square metres in all, but this photo probably is about a foot across.

Location: Damp flush in wood at Rhiw, Lleyn Peninsula, Wales
